Anyone else having new graphics glitches after latest hotfix?
Lot of garage-related oddities on my end, and one issue out in the field where I thought it was a sheer cliff but turned out to just be a glitch that was hiding the rest of the map.

None of these things happened to me before the latest hotfix. Just wanted to know if others are having this same issue. I'm on a pure AMD system btw (AMD proc and graphics card).

Yes, I think so.

I just bought and installed the game.
In the first 15 minutes I discovered the following "graphic anomalies" - I strongly assume that this is not a desired behavior on the part of the developers.

Depending on the location / perspective, it may or may not display objects correctly. If the character's location is changed even slightly, the objects may "disappear" or be displayed again due to a change in location of a few centimeters.

I also have this type of problem.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't know why all this stuff only appeared following the latest hotfix, but at least I know it's not unique to my system.

This is actually a good thing. It means the bugs are widespread enough that they will be addressed in the near future. Rather than having to spend hours tweaking your own settings or having to turn down the graphics options to play.

Again, thanks for the feedback!

Yep, just experienced missing or "exploding" textures/geometry at the garage, it happens randomly.. hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Yeah, I was seeing stretched polygons in the garage that went from one side of the room to the other, passing right through the car. They would appear/disappear randomly as I walked around them.

Same here, today and yesterday. Get flickering stretched artifacts at certain angles. Using a GTX 3060 Ti. Yesterday it was just a flickering construction lattice (from when you build new garage furniture) in front of the car, today I had a massive brown wall behind it.

In the field, too, sometimes there's a kind of artifact that seems to hide what lies beyond, and as you approach it disappears but ends up coming back later.
As for the garage bug, when it occurs I save and reload and it disappears.

I just booted up the game for the first time and was seeing what I felt were a lot of visual effects that weren't intended. During the introductory drive I walked through what was probably meant to be a water puddle but it was just...white. Boulders not loading any textures and appearing super smooth.

Once inside the garage I have a weird artifact popping up near the battery charging table. It's like a solid wall 1 pixel thick that disappears when I get close, and reappears when I walk away.

Yes, it is quite a lot. Not only in the garage, but also on some maps outside. I'm an AMD Sapphire user here. It appeared with the latest one or two updates, and it makes the game sort of unplayable.

Usually, reloading a save file helps...for a while...but if you are outside, it might not help at all, and it is nonsense to reload mid-trip.

Texture/render tearing or whole textures not loading at all sometimes.

I haven't noticed any odd textures/models at the moment (though I have run into "black skies" occasionally); lately I have noticed that the game seems to chug a bit on certain effects/explosions such as breaking Plasma Generators, Bunnies Spawning in, etc.

Seen the glitches on the same system with both a GTX 1070Ti and later with a RX7800XT.
So its not a driver problem, its something to do with the game itself.

What I haven't seen mentioned is that (for me atleast) it only occurs if you load a save after already being in game. ie you load into the menu and load a game (glitches dont occur), you then load another save (or even the same one) and there's a very good chance the glitch occurs.
If you quit to the menu and reload a save, still the glitch may occur.
The only way to get rid of it is to quit the game to desktop and reload it, then reload the save and the glitch doesn't occur and won't again (I can play for hours like this without a single glitch) unless I try to reload a save while ingame.

The saves themselves seem to be fine, its something in the game loading procedure once the game is underway.

It could be memory corruption or a memory leak instead of an issue with graphics, which could result in broken textures. It is up to the developer to investigate this further. Let's hope a fix for this will be available soon.
