Swollen batteries Better??

it seems like having a swolen battery in your car can actualy be beneficial if you have lightning rods on it. the swolen battery is capable of giving itself the Charged status effect, and giving itself back power via the lightning rods on your car. it also can give that to other car parts but i havent checked if that would also work with the rods.

beside the damage buildup from shocking the car (can be midigated by bringing insulated panels and doors), is there any other downsides to swollen batteries? they retain the same amount of capacity and dont seem to lose any energy either. unless someone else has had issues?

I didn't keep mine long enough to check, but if you read the logbook entry it mentions something about how the fact it's swollen means there's a serious developing problem, so I assumed it'd either stop working randomly or explode.
