This may seem obvious to those born in 80s but the game is obviously inspired by BTTF. Just felt like they half nodded not a full nod!
I’d like to see more of the theme of it. Like the 88mph thing and the fire wheel blaze trail it leaves behind on entry and exit. Maybe a small cut scene when you’re doing so etc.

I did see the achievement which solidified my suspicions lol. That’s nice and all but just think add more of it to the game. Doesn’t need to be overly obvious but even a little cutscene with the fire trail behind the wheels would be awesome.

True on station wagon but I think that’s the fun thing about it all in that they nodded at the game with little gestures.

The achievement "Where we are going, we don't need roads", or staying airborne for six seconds, is a reference to Back To The Future.

Guess I’m going to have to resort to Spotify and cue up BTTF music and power of love etc lol.

Could be just as satisfying actually hitting FN+play on my keyboard before I hit the radar button on the map.

yes there are even many references to it, I saw one fax on the fax machine that reference it. as well as an achievement that pops when you reach that signature speed required for time travel ;)

Honestly this game tags a lot of fan groups and checks a lot of "nerdy" boxes for me. Ghost busters, Storm chasers, Pimp my ride ... just to name a few.

The Olympium bumper seems to be Back To The Future inspired too, it has the same neon blue lines on it, same kind you can find on the DeLorean

Indeed a few references. You know that feeling when you return from the chaotic zones and get back to the stillness of the garage and your car gently arrives back….that’d be epic to have some BTTF trumpets or similar orchestral arrangement playing on your return.

Deluxe version of the game (or cosmetics DLC) has BTTF steering wheel that you can put on your car.
