Can't retrieve Scanning Antenna from Fabrication Station

I created the Scanning Antenna on the Fabrication Station by following the game prompts, but now I have a yellow diamond on the hatch on the tube next to the Fabrication Station but cannot open it or retrieve the part. Is this a bug or did I miss something in the instructions?

It seems like a bug but just in case, did you press and hold the space bar, if not try that. If you did, bug

also because the game never tells you this, there are multiple sections in the fabriactor that let you research stuff like car parts and new tools

Yeah, figured that out already. If only I coudl get my fabricated parts out. I quit and restarted the game and everything. Holding space is just jump. Tried kicking, RMB, pressing and holding E, tried the impact hammer, the scrapper, and the prybar, but no luck. The part is stuck inside the hatch and won't come out
