If you are stupid, like I am, and stubborn as a hungry mule, like I am, you may have tried to CUT open a dumpster pearl with TOOLS before.

This is, as we say, wrong.

Apparently the CORRECT way to deal with these little blossoms of trash is to feed them into the Matter Deconstructor. Just, thought I'd put this out there, in case anyone needed to know.

I did the same but quickly was like 'this doesn't seem right' and stopped before destroying it.

What I'd like to know is if you get more resources if you repair them beforehand.
