well dev should start supporting both old and new platforms..
how its done? via --dx11 command? or via launcher button?
If your card is so old it doesn't support DX12, or at least DX11.3, it's too pathetic to run modern titles anyway.
Stop expecting devs to constantly bend over backwards and waste time catering to those who refuse to spend money in the industry.
If you even remotely cared about games, you wouldn't use Linux.
If you can't handle the fact that technology advances and you need to keep up with it, just buy a console and stop crying that your ancient garbage PC can't do anything.
as a long-time linux player: direct x12 performs better under proton than direct x11 under most circumstances, in my experience. the necessary hardware to support direct x12 using dxvk is fairly forgiving.
If you're going broke from those 2 components you have bigger issues
I've had these for almost as long as they've been out, I'm not just going to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ waste money for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles.
