Bug: Panels/doors disappearing after installing

Came back from a run. Stripped the car. Dumpster gave panels. Install a few, turn around, panels have disappeared AND moved back to where they spawned by the dumpster.

Is this a bug or some bizarre game mechanic? Reloading a save didn't fix it, no other bugs present.

Windows 11, DX12, ROG Ally (Ryzen), all software updated as of 1/24/24

This happened to me. The dumpster duplicates the item so when you interact with the next one it deletes the one you interacted with before.

This happened to me with parts from a dump, and I installed the door 6 times in a row, and they all disappeared. And when I installed the one I made myself, it stayed.

Hey, I have a fix: Scrap all the panels. You won't get any parts and the ones already installed will disappear. Return to the dumpster. It should give you more panels and these ones were not bugged for me.
