You can investigate quirks by test driving before trips anyway.
Besides, you can change quirk options in the option menu.
A game breaking design that actually prevents me from playing any of the game because it happens so frequently when I'm not even near the car. Cool. Glad that's considered good game design. I can't imagine why this game isn't selling very well.
- Reversing the car opens the hood
- Turning on the wipers opens the driver's door
- Closing the trunk beeps the horn
I should really get them fixed but I love the 'charm' too 😅
Considering your car only develops a single quirk per run in my experience (possibly three, if you have them on abundant) it sounds like you aren't diagnosing them on the regular. otherwise, theres plenty of other things in the zone that could also be whats causing this behavior. I had one where my car was being manipulated to work against me, it'd turn off park, honk its horn, flash its headlights, all kinds of things to try to distract me from other threats~ but only so long as I wasn't in the drivers seat. The car needs societal help as well as physical help now, you can't neglect one of them! Or, just turn them off. Game seems to be selling fine, otherwise they'd be really wanting to add that famous mid run save functionality.
Honking the horn closed all the doors
Just turn them off, then. It's right there in the settings. inb4 "hurr durr I shouldn't have to turn it off it should be perfect for me because I'm pwecious"
