Maybe that super special tier for end game is free of it?
I made out of that just by drawing new texture and replace old with it.
Some of those parts even have speed-holes.
Until you get to that point, Armored are pretty clean. But you really aren't going to have your car looking pristine until Olumpium.
otherwise have to wait for olympium panels and doors until you can get a pristine looking car.
would love someone to make a mod for a clean car though, make rust only appear on dmged cars.
BUT the wrecks would be the car at the start would be and it would not take long for it to rust up in the environment 70s steal was bad most of the cars are of that era its damp anomalies and acid ones at that will eat it crap old paint not galvanised ever,
you will also need a new type of panel ie salvaged for the ones in the zone and thats dev time.
no point in the armor and the others being pristane its armor its meant to take a beating and
the rest are mad max Maggiver type junk.
there is no point really wastes dev time and the steal would not last long under the conditions of the forest and the zone.
Olympium is not clean however. All parts of every kind are covered in rust. It's pretty ridiculous that we have the ability to create a super-car with future tech, and we can paint decals and change colors like a pro, but we're unable to avoid rust? It just looks awful.
If anything, it's more like a creature of the Immaterium that is shaped like a station wagon. It is sentient and puts up with our nonsense only because it likes us even more than it likes rust and gasoline.
Heck, if Ironwood Studios were to let drop that the Remnant is a species of Mimic or a "doggo" from the Plane of Machines, I would be utterly lacking in surprise.
