UE crash on save load

So, had my first 'death' when trying to make a run for the pillar of light. I think I caught a glimpse of the garage but the game crashed immediately. Had the UE5 crash report pop up on me. I can load the game just fine but now when I try to load the save the same thing happens again. Goes straight into UE5 crash report.

Fatal error: [File:Unknown] [Line: 3971] Retry was NOT sucessful.

Also having that issue after saving and quitting the game. Getting this error message: <ErrorMessage>Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x00000000000001bd</ErrorMessage>

Annnnnnd now it loaded the save file just fine. But ouch, my poor car.

Spent 30 mins on a place, traveled to the next and it crashed my game... I got Fatal error: [File:Unknown] [Line: 3971] Retry was NOT sucessful.

I've tried coming back in 4 times. Game wont even let me in anymore

I had the unreal engine crash while trying to load a save from main menu (I assume you mean UE4 ;)

It happened twice consecutively, so I verified file integrity through Steam and it said one file failed to validate; after downloading and installing a single 2mb file, problem was solved and it hasnt happened again since.

I had the same problem. I verified the integrity of the files and it said all files were good without re-downloading any, but thankfully when I loaded back up the crash was gone. I know it was the verification because I tried loading the game 6 times before then, and it only worked after file integrity verification.
