(bug) ARC mod Despawns upon leaving garage

upon returning to the garage after the first venture into the mid zone and playing through the "small favor" mission i found a upgrade in poppy's office, i picked it up and ran to my car, only to quickly realize i had no idea what i was supposed to do with it and dropped it in a corner and went back to resupplying for my next mission. Que coming back from Tobias's mission in the mid-zone and poppy wants me to install the device on my vehicle, only for me to find it has spawned in the time was out in the zone. is there any way i can fix this or do i just have to continue the game without this upgrade?

also i tried reloading and using the vaccuum, its just straight up gone. just a objective marker hovering over the original location

I thought my arc doc was missing too. I ended up finding it inside the Vargas Auto-Vac tube (not the transfer trunk it spits out)

look in the inventory of the vacuum its there

This got me a few times before I realised. I used the Vargas Auto-Vac and looked in the transfer trunk it spits out to see nothing. Thinking it was either a bug or something else I went a while not checking the auto-vac tube itself.
