Expansion Rack is gone

Unlocked it and didnt knew where to put it.
So i dropped it and went on a tour.
After coming back its gone.
Wouldnt be a problem if these wouldnt be limited to 4. Now I can only have 3 in total...

Any way to get the lost one back?

have you tired going into the tech tree and seeing if you can tell it to re-spawn the kit? you can get blueprints to re-spawn if needed

I cant tell it to re-spawn.
Or rather I cant find the option for it..

its not super obvious but the vacuum has a 'big side' that all the stuff that isnt materials will go into. I lost some upgrades that werent installed for quite a long time before seeing this.

I've got a similar issue as well, except it's a seat rack rather than side rack
