Problem saving dlss
If you select "ultra quality" dlss in the graphics settings, it will not be saved, it will always be "auto" or "quality".

But I found a solution.
C:\Users\<name>\AppData\Local\PenDriverPro\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
Change DLSSMode=1 to DLSSMode=2 in GameUserSettings.ini
0 - off
1 - auto
2 - ultra quality
3 - quality
DLSS will display correctly in graphics settings. Don't change dlss.

Awesome, thank you!

Do you know if there's any way to scale/reduce Brightness of the HUD through .ini too?

I don't know, I don't think this can be changed. Maybe someone will find a way.

Yea, I also could not get the in game settings to keep Ultra Quality either. Would always revert to Auto or Quality. Even with newer DLSS 3.5.10.

If I remember correctly this has also happened with other games. You would need to set DLSS to Quality and than Ultra for it to work. But that didnt fix it here.

However, editing the games config file does reflect in game. Whether that actually works I saw minimal difference.

%LOCALAPPDATA%\PenDriverPro\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

Universal path for Windows PC's, copy and paste into a Run box (windows-key + R) or any Explorer window address bar.

On the engine.ini, add this lines to the end:

[/script/engine.userinterfacesettings]
ApplicationScale=0.8

Where 1 it's the default, 0.8 = 80% i suppose. I found that a while back for Grounded, tried it now for Pacific and at first glance it seems work.

This worked perfectly, thank you! I just wish this suggestion would have came before I finished the game, though I'm glad to have it available for my next playthrough. :)

Yeah, i was afraid that it was going to be too late lol. But i was so glad that i found it for Grounded that i needed to share.

First time i tried it into another Unreal game, so it's cool to have it around because i always find the HUD's to be way to big.

Thanks, another ini setting into my text file of universal UE4 & 5 settings and fixes, that I've been using for years. Take a warm blanket.

While this did force the DLSS setting to ultra quality, it did not work correctly. It lowered my frame rate compared to it being off. It also butchered the frame timing so much it is unplayable. Leaving it off until this is patched.
