Do you know if there's any way to scale/reduce Brightness of the HUD through .ini too?
If I remember correctly this has also happened with other games. You would need to set DLSS to Quality and than Ultra for it to work. But that didnt fix it here.
However, editing the games config file does reflect in game. Whether that actually works I saw minimal difference.
Universal path for Windows PC's, copy and paste into a Run box (windows-key + R) or any Explorer window address bar.
On the engine.ini, add this lines to the end:
[/script/engine.userinterfacesettings]
ApplicationScale=0.8
Where 1 it's the default, 0.8 = 80% i suppose. I found that a while back for Grounded, tried it now for Pacific and at first glance it seems work.
This worked perfectly, thank you! I just wish this suggestion would have came before I finished the game, though I'm glad to have it available for my next playthrough. :)
First time i tried it into another Unreal game, so it's cool to have it around because i always find the HUD's to be way to big.
Thanks, another ini setting into my text file of universal UE4 & 5 settings and fixes, that I've been using for years. Take a warm blanket.
