What is your pc specs ?
For those who don't have fps or performance problems, what configuration do you have?
I don't have a very recent PC, but I'm able to run most recent games without too many problems, but this one is complicated.

Ryzen 7 5800X
RTX 3080
32Gb RAM
MOBO: MSI B550 Tomahawk

Playing at 2K at High settings = 120 solid fps

Intel Core i5-9600K 3.70GHz
GTX 1650 OC
16GB RAM

1920x1080, everything at high except shadows and shaders, those are at medium. Stable 60 fps most of the time, however, one anomaly causes fps to drop drastically, but I haven't yet figured which one.

I should have mentioned that I play on borderless window. It gave me a whopping 20fps boost from fullscreen.

i7-8700K CPU, 32GB mem and a GTX 1080. Running great at 1920@1200 in dx12, most stuff maxed out, and a high FOV.

I didn't specify that I was playing on my living room TV, but normally the game launches in 1080p and not 4k so it's not coming from there.
I've made some adjustments with what you've told me and now it runs better even if it's not optimal, I'm around 50fps in the garage at the moment.
Random Fire Feb 24, 2024 @ 9:18am
Win 10 i5_4460, 3.2Ghz, 16GB RAM, SSD, GPU 4070, Res 1920x1080
Everything set to ultra, no DSL
Runs smooth, never noticed any graphical issues. No idea about FPS

Glad to see at least some improvement. My GPU doesn't support any new stuff — DLSS, RTX, etc. (talk about not very recent pc, lol), — so tweak those settings a bit. Even devs admitted DLSS is janky right now.

Intel i5-10600KF
Rtx 3060
32 gb with SSD
1080p
On medium-high have semi-stable 60 fps in prologue, 30-40 during first mission. With everything on minimum managed to achieve unstable 60 with constant drops.
Even cyberbug 2077 works fine on high-ultra (without raytracing for sure) on same specs, others newest games run even better

Im running a i3-12100f w/GTX 1660s and didnt have issues with the demo. With that said, I am not sure I should even try to run this if you're having issues given your gpu is much better than mine.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070
16 gigs of RAM
11th Gen Intel Core i5-11600K
running on a NVMe SSD

Runs pretty well at default settings at 2560x1440

I'm playing on a Lenovo Y540 laptop:
i5-9300H
16 GB RAM
SSD NVMe
RTX 2060 6GB

Playing in fullscreen with 1920x1080. Had to put everything on minimum to get consistent 60 FPS. I'll try the borderless windowed like some people here suggested and get back with the results.
