Why is the game so dark?
A few players have pointed out a problem with the game being too dark in certain areas, like inside buildings. But I would like to add, that it is way too dark in ALL areas. I get the necessity of a flashlight and road flares at night. But even in daytime it's sometimes so dark I can barely see anything even with the brightness turned all the way up and "Brigther nights" enabled.

Here is a screenshot of me looking at the garage at 8 in the morning. Not really something I would call night.
The light sources already in the game don't really feel useful at all as the light just does not bleed into any surroundings of where it hits.
A bright lamp basically only illuminates what is right underneath it but not an entire room, like how lights usually work.

Okay I found out what the issue is.
Apparently post processing is bugged to hell.
Turning post processing to "High" instead of Medium literally made a night and day difference for some reason.

It is dark tbf. Get yourself a rechargeable flare or light to walk around with!
there is a setting called "bright nights" you can adjust the darkness at night

This makes sense. It’s also an issue in other games like mist.

I'm glad I found this. Having the post processing on low or medium made the whole game too dark. Putting it on high or ultra seems to fix it. And yes it was too dark with brightness all the way up and brighter nights turned on.
