Even if you're going the other way and don't even use the planned route.
I thought you had to take one of the options that light up when you scan it.
i get the first bit, in the garage you pick a spot. Garage door opens you drive out, turn left and you then select again the route (but you can hop to something closer before final destination)…and it warps you there. Saying that it is a bit odd why you need to pick it twice .. :/
The route planner is just there to help you scan a location and see what the biomes / modifiers are, if you so wish it.
When you drive off the garage and pick the route again you can go anywhere, you don't need to go through the route you picked in the beginning.
You can even pick zones that weren't scanned in the garage.
They should just let you open the damn garage door lol what’s the point of selecting the route in garage :/
You scan the route for anomalies there.
Also let you CLOSE it. Or make scanning part of the pre-check list.
It just seems like you’ve ’done’ something but you haven’t done anything except open door lol.
Achieve the same thing having a glance at it and hovering over where you’re going to see location info, and having an open garage door button.
Not big deal just doesn’t make sense to me.
I assume putting it in the garage gives incentive for you to plan ahead with what parts you might want to throw on your car. You'll know what tires you might want, or other accessories / utilities. Doesn't really make sense to drive out without planning where you're going beforehand. Putting in the garage gives you that option.
