Add custom music?
Browsed a little bit but no obvious folder, any idea if it'll be added?

maybe they will make a mod a little later

This would be a fun feature, like the old GTA games to have a folder for a custom radio channel.

Hell yeah that'd be awesome, Lost planet 3 had a radio you could play custom music on and just the fact of it being in world adds so much. +1

Eh, just play music in a player in the background of the game? That can't be hard is it?
The random transmissions, change in sound when traveling around the radio and in/out of the car, shop, and static, ambience add a lot to the experience. So I wonder if it's even possible depending on how they setup the ingame systems to play music to begin with.

Maybe it's possible other tracks can be added and filtered through the ingame settings.

It'd be really cool! But I know i'd either just have freebird on loop or 500 miles.

Needs to be Panama. If your going to do crazy stuff in a station wagon it needs to be Panama.

This works fine for the garage, though on looting runs sometimes it's nice to have it in the car radio, where the volume is affected by distance and car door being open/closed, where getting out and walking away gradually fades into the in-game atmosphere.

Copyright is obviously going to prevent this from being customizable in any official way, but I would like to see a modding guide on how to do this.

Have played around 14 hours already, and this music already became very annoying. Even "Doctor juice" song, aaaall the time. Found an OGG folder in the game's local files (.OGG format is being used in games to compress sounds or music mp3 or WAV files - my summer car is a good example) But there's nothing in that folder. Nothing relevant to sound files or etc. I do really hope that they will give us a tool or a path to modify the game's playlist. Otherwise it's gonna be a torture to me keep playing this.
P.S. for some potential smart аssеs I'll say - no, it's impossible to play without a radio music in this game. U're just gonna loose tons of vibes and the game will turn up in to a some kinda horror game :\

One thing that I would like to see in regards to this is more songs on different channels, like one channel being classic rock, one being cowboy songs, one being pop, one being dedicated to the music from the game, although that would probably be a hassle and a half to get the licensing for so many songs so I understand why they just wrote their own.

If they just added a way to play Spotify through the car it would be amazing.

Even the ability to pick and choose what songs play would be nice "Puzzle Pieces" is actually hard to listen to and has made me turn off my radio in my shop for how often it plays and how much time I have wasted changing it. which is a shame cause the atmosphere is great when you come back in the shop with "drawing down the moon," "A Shell in The Pit"
"the Castle"or "the freeze" but no you rip into the shop after a brutal escape to
constant "Bloodoath" "45 say 666" and "Puzzle Pieces."

I hear ya there, although to be fair I have a hard time understanding the lyrics in most songs so I only recognize the numbers one you're talking about, and is the puzzle pieces the one where a lady sings "if you want to I can be there for you"?

I just find the ost hella lame. I know that's all personal taste, but most of what I've heard are limp, ecclectic-ass songs that try for weird sounds and mumbly delivery and I guess that's the game's own AesTHetIc, but it doesn't work for me at all. I like the main theme though. And they loop like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, too, I've had two songs alternate each other twice until I just swapped frequency.

I want to give these mods a look because I've sometimes picked up a chance transmission from someone and I'd like to get those, but I'm always running radio off :/

"pick up all of the pieces, sort them out" Yup that the one, sound like it was sung by someone who never learned how to sing.

Okay that's what I thought, I enjoy the song itself but it only half fits the game. A couple of the best songs both in itself and just for the attitude of the game is "Swansea" and "1964" (good thing their on spotify or I'd be trying to say song lyrics like before). Honestly I really enjoy the numbers one as well, but just personal preference I suppose.
Edit : I think Turn The Page is my favorite song.
