Next people will be telling me about the power cuts they have and that I am entitled because I live in the UK.
Press escape, on the default settings it pauses the world, I sent 45 mins last night cleaning and then went back to the game at the very point I paused it.
If people have been telling you otherwise they are lying or stupid.
I did this as a matter of instinct, because I am a gamer and most games have this feature.
Well that is what I was asking, because I rarely have to turn it off so if there is a pause then this removes the problem for me. But my real life is crazy enough that I can't even be guaranteed a 45 mins uninterrupted play time.
Even the 15 mins shift time on Hardspace: Ship Breaker got paused for long periods very often.
Also I suffer from an extreme case of 'one turn more' syndrome and could see myself starting a run when I shouldn't ;)
So if there is a pause that works, it solves the issue for me.
In demo you could only pause if you enable specific game options. It will disable earning achievements. There is second option that disabled damage over time when in pause.
I don't think full game changed that.
I guess Devs have a cruel sense of humor and are hardcore gamers themselves.
Such approach might hurt their earning with this game. Inclusiveness should not be a question in 2024. I'm not sure why they banish casual players from their game.

Note for trolls: I'm not gonna respond.
I think it is unfair to say they have a cruel sense of humor. They had an idea of a game, they designed it a certain way, advertised it like that, and made it. It was never meant to have a save system mid-mission, it was always meant to have this difficulty. Was it a good idea ? a bad idea ? Would it hurt their earnings ? It's subjective, and ultimately, it doesn't matter at all, it is their game and they do whatever the ♥♥♥♥ the want with it xD so it is not fair to blame them for it as long as it is what they advertised(which it is).
See, if they stuck to that though, then it'd be fine. Whats silly is they excluded all of the convenience of a save system, but included options to remove all of the difficulty, risk, and consequence. You can toggle all of the options in accessibility and gameplay to babymode settings and just coast through the entire game on godmode. But people who still want to play it as a game with consequences and difficulty, but whom have medical conditions or constant interruptions are punished.
Game save when you leave it, but delete that save when its Loaded.
So, if you die, Reset in previous garage save.
Seria una buena opción esa forma
Depends on how do you feel about letting the computer run at 100% load while you pause. Contrary to most other games this one continues to render at full speed.
