And you, skill issuers, have issues, if you are defending such bad design. Even such punishful games, like Project Zomboid have save on exit.
Just on this experience, you would probably find that the dumpster back at the base would be extremely generous and spit out a ton of items to get you back on your feet. But yeah the learning curve is steep for the first couple of maps. I died on the first 3 runs being too reckless.

In any way, I'm rooting for autosave on exit, so I could park the car in somewhat safe place in zone and exit from game for returning to the game on the next day and continue the run from the same point.
In game I didn't find such info. Besides, why not add save on exit, as many games, including hardcore, have?
