Friendly Dumpster spawned hundreds of doors

...and well it broke my game. If I grab one and put it on my car, it despawns... I tried vacuuming them up, and it just filled the vacuum and there's still a massive pile of doors giggling around in front of the dumpster. Fun times.

I've had this glitch a couple times, it's game breaking and there's really nothing you can do other than grab them all and put them in the matter deconstructer and obviously get nothing back and just not touch your car. I found if I get that glitch and just don't touch my car then it won't despawn them all.

Yeah pretty sure the items with the love hearts on them cannot be broken down to smaller parts.

I had this happen too. The parts are completely useless as far as I can tell. I used the transfer container to scrap them all (got nothing for scrapping them) but at least it got rid of them. I triggered the dumpster again after and it did what it was supposed to do the first time.

If you suffer from this, just get out on the road (small trip) asap. When come back then scrap them (you will have to use healing station hope you have that as you loose health when you do) - thats how i cleared the few hundred I have

When you say "scrap" them, are you using the scrapper tool, or some other option in your garage? Looks like if you were using the scrapper it would take a lot of materials since you'd be having to build new scrappers a lot.

if you hit them with the scrapper then they'll disappear in swaths, it seems like the dumpster spawns a pile of doors and panels that are clones of each other. so they're all linked and destroying one will let you destroy them all

Dude I'm, so confused. Trying to learn how this game works, I lost all my stuff abandoning a run, like everything. Now today I login and I got my cosmetics back in my inventory??? I check the dumpster and it spits out like 46 friggen doors.. I was like wait is this like Borderlands where it gives me back everything I dropped? Now the door keeps disappearing. This is a problem :\

I've had it spawn hundreds of headlights but every time you slot one and go and pick up another, the one you installed disappears.

I chalked it up to a prank by the friendly dumpster, and I can't really hold that against it considering he keeps giving me copper wire when i need it lol.

I only had a situration where my car was very much damaged on the doors and panels, that it gave me 2 of each. Thing is, i could make it keep giving me the same items, so i ended up being able to replace my very broken car with better ones. They were all steel as well

There is a setting you can change in "gameplay settings" which stops you losing any items on a failed run. There are loads of customisation options there such as permanent lights despite battery drain, no car damage etc. It's nice that they added options so people can tailor the game to them and work around parts that they might find annoying.

it spitted for me about 60 cloth out once, but ... car parts? not yet xD.
