Working on that one as well, I reckon it is either in the mid zone or the outer zone, some obscure anomaly I have not managed to track down as of yet.

Mid zone, spawns in the mires (and the scorch, possibly?). Big geyser things, spits out acid blobs, very nasty damage.

Lore note: they are *not* geysers - geysers spit out liquid, these spit out gas, so the proper term would be a geothermal vent. Or Barnacles as ARDA employees have decided to call them :D

same thing, i already got my answer and shared it, i might have to mark it tho. but thanks anyway. someone in the discord gave me the info so i shared it here.

Also even if its not a regular geyser, its still spewing lots of green stuff out of the ground like a geyser. so. green geyser for me, and i said this reading the lore already before from the help i got

Found it, turns out is a VARIANT of sick mickey, so it is easy to overlook.

Any way to tell a difference from afar?

It's much shorter than the Sick Mickey. Mickey constantly spits Rotten Eggs in a very large radius, the Barnacle spits rotten eggs intermittently in a much smaller radius.

Thank you. I thought I finally found it but it was a sick mickey. I'll scope out the mires
Edit: Found it!. When it shoots out the green blobs it has a vertical green geyser. Otherwise it looks pretty similar to the other poison rocks
