Route planner clarification?

Hi, I was hoping someone on here could help me identify what some of the icons mean on the route planner, as I have tried to but I guess my brain is too small to figure them out lol.

1: the pick icon that goes into a diamond on the same row as fuel, cars and houses. no idea what it is
2: the clock icon above the stable/unstable energy amount bar. Is this like a timer length for each junction? I dont rush or anything and I have been in junctions without the peaceful modifier but i have yet to run out of time, is it just really generous?
3: this is more about the routes themselves, but why are some of the junctions sometimes unavailable? is it just random which ones it will let you pick?

1: This is for mid/late game resources in biome-specific nodes.
2: I think this is the amount of energy you need to get home from that location
3: It appears that once you specifically warp home from a specific node you cannot use that node as a destination anymore, I don't know if they ever open back up later on. You can however decide to revisit those nodes on a new trip, by traveling through them on the way to a node that's further out.
