Back Seat Rack
Guys help. I've installed both back seat racks but it wont let me interact with them and actually store anything there. I have to remove a door and then I can see the ghost shape of where the storage is located but it doesnt have any function besides hold C to scan it- and then the scanning process never completes.

What step am I missing to utilize the seat storage?

Did you install a rack or the inventory for the rack? If only the rack itself - you need to actually put something on it. But seeing how you unlocked a backseat rack, I assume you already have at least 2 side racks and you know it already. In which case I don't know.

Okay so I installed the rack- But i can't interact with it to actually store something on it. I can see the outline but no ability to actually put something in it

Like normally I go up to something, hold down E, and it'll open a menu to put storage in it. Pretty simple right? I look at the back seat, hold down E, and nothing happens, even after the rack itself is installed

Noeat- You're saying that there needs to be like cardboard boxes or something like the side storage units made- I do not see an option for creating the storage unit itself, beyond creating "side storage units"
If someone can lay out a step by step that would be massively helpful. I've looked everywhere on my crafting and research menus. I'm pretty sure its some small simple mistake im making but its pretty aggravating not being able to use it

no.. you need 1) put there rack 2) craft on crafting station container for that rack (like you do with side racks)

what you are describing is that you put there rack, but you didnt put container on that rack.

you need two pieces - rack and then some container as a inventory for that rack and then you can use that inventory container.

you just make constreuction what can hold some sort of container, you didnt make that container.

Okay wait...I need to research items to put in there. im an idiot. I thought you could use it like storage akin to the side storage units. Misunderstanding. Thank you

Devs- A little more clarity on gameplay mechanics and interactions would be helpful.
