ps5 controller problem

iam using the ps5 dual edge controler on PC. and some controle are weird. like some of the button are doing like double tapping. for exemple the first mission to enter the garage where we have to presse R1 to open. well i tap one and it open close the door, and then the door is lock. so i got the restart all over. and to crouch with O it cant. at least the haptic trigger work.
i have to active steam input to play correctly put i loose the haptic triogger fonction.

I'm having issues with my dual sense as well. But I thought it was the game design and not the controller. For example, I had the hardest time trying to open the crafting menu and inventory. Until I learned you have to look for the cues. Sometimes its a hold and sometimes its a tap. Honestly might the worst control system I have seen in a game. The driving is great with the haptic triggers, its all the little minor stuff and basic interactions that are flakey. Super jank.

yes iam pretty sure it is in the game, because when i desactived steam input, my controller work just fine, i juste dont have my haptic trigger, and the cool part is that the haptic trigger work via bluthoot.
hope they fix that

This issue is really weird. I've managed to solve it by right-clicking on the game > Properties... > Controller > setting the "Override for Pacific Drive" to "Use default settings". It does not make any sense, I know. But it fixed it for me.
