once you put a decal on, is there anyway to get it off?

The paint stripper will remove both decals and paint. So be ready to repaint the parts also.

You find it like other paint and decals. It looks similar to the off-white paint

i just looked through my paint shelf and found like 6 cans of it and didn't even realise i had them lol

it should have a red cross icon or something on it so it doesnt just look like normal paint

Stripper looks exact same as other spray so you need to look into it when you got them.

Can you get your decals back by putting a part in the deconstructor?

I've gotten a can of paint back by putting a painted part in the machine a few times, but never a decal so far.

You can't sadly. Once you use paint or a decal, it's gone forever

I mean, yes and no. If you deconstruct a painted part, there's a chance you'll get a paint item of the same color.

Didn't anyone else experience this?

I think ive had that happen to me before i scrapped a ton of items and i had a heap of resources and im pretty sure i saw a can of paint roll out of it but i dont think its a 100% chance to get the paint or decal when you scrap

I have a notion that if you can paint 15 parts with a can, and that scrapping one of them gives a new can, you always basically break even.
