Real World Map Comparison

I live in the PNW so pretty much as soon as I unlocked the map I wanted to compare it to the real deal. In this album you can see the (very early) game map overlaid on the real world Olympic Peninsula: https://imgur.com/gallery/STdKYIo

It's interesting to see what they changed from the real map and how they used certain features (like the Olympic mountains) as inspiration for those changes.

I used to live on the Peninsula! I'm a little sad I can't make it to most of the places I know, but Lake Crescent is up there! I'm just sad Forks and Quilcene weren't destroyed. Forks' town motto should be the Town Where No One Smiles.

Yeah, the mention of "mountain ranges moving overnight" was a bit telling. I cant imagine ANYTHING is remotely close to what its supposed to look like.

Well it is an area that's gotten screwed over by anomalous events that makes things change each time you go to the same place on follow-up trips.
