I can't figure out how to install the lightning rod

Hey guys, does anyone know how to install the lightning rod? I have the thing in my hands, I just have no clue where it goes in the car, I've checked every panel and door and inside and outside. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you installed any side racks? That piece of equipment would be mounted to a side rack.

I think you need to install it to one of the equipment racks, which need to be installed first.

Yep, that's a roof rack attachment - you'll need to build that and install it on the car first.

You can check which component goes where:
-Go to the Fabrication Station and open it as normal
- check top middle part of the Fab station menu; there's an BY SLOT option, press the corresponding button
-Now you can check what component goes where; Examble: highlight the SIDE RACK and it opens new menu which shows all the component which are compatible with it.
-and you can click the component and it highlights that upgrade in the Fab Station, if you can't find it.

That goes on instead of one of your bumpers. I put it on my rear bumper because I need the front one for the actual bumping.

Thank you so much! My side racks were full of storage, so I couldn't figure it out. If my feedback is helpful somehow, it wasn't clear where it goes from the get-go. Thanks for making my favourite game of 2024 (so far)!

I saw when I unlocked the LIMpulse emitter that it could go on the front or rear bumper... but how the eff do you install something on the bumper?

Finally figured it out... after 15 minutes of circling the car and 15 minutes googling it with no progress. It's not actually an upgrade FOR the bumper, it's actually a bumper itself, to REPLACE the existing bumper. So, uninstall the bumper entirely and put the LIMpulse emitter on in its place.

yeah, it makes them stop latching at you. i find it quite usefull against abductors, bunnies, and whatever cursed fairy thing in the swamp. i really hate when they suddenly appear when im driving at high speed.... theyll yeet me off track into a cliff or a thick forest.

Well. It didnt.

I had 3 rabbits on me. Fired up the thing a good 5 times and still no rabbit removal. Does it NEED to be on the front? I had it in the back.

Should work on the back too, that's where I have mine, that's odd, it seems to work fine for broken bunnys for me, it's showing the graphical effect and draining battery every time? Are the bunnys still causing effects after firing it?
