No way to split stacks?

Hmm, as the title says, no way to split stacks? I don't wanna take all my road flares or repair putties I made with me dang it.

The only way I've been able to do this is to equip the stack of whatever it is you want to split. Then do a right mouse click that drops what I am holding one piece at a time. Then I put what's left back into storage and pick up the stuff on the ground.

This is a lousy way of doing it but it works.

Pretty sure in the demo you could split. Try shift clicking/dragging, maybe it only works if there are different windows.

Hmm... I'll have to do the equip one then I suppose, As none of the normal ways to split stacks work.

If you open cardboard box storage in your car and put the whole stack inside the car you can then Shift+right click to move one item at a time back to your backpack.

you can pick up a stack and discard one at a time on the ground, put the remaining stack in the vault - pick up the rest from the ground.
LMAO, they didn't add basic inventory interaction mechanics, but they added all kinds of rainbow flags and blm .
