Does this game will support wheel controlers like g29, thrustmaster t300 or fanatec?
Hi I want to use my wheel in this game. Will fanatec or other brands work with Pacific Drive?

So a driving game that doesnt support a wheel? Huh...

Pretty sure driving is like half the game but you're still gonna be walking around a lot.

Driving game without wheel support? Hard pass. I got interested after watching a YouTube video. Most of my interest had to do with being able to use my wheel to play this.

Yeah most is also walking and exploring.

My prediction is there's going to be a lot more on-foot traffic at the beginning of the game than the end. Early on your car is a junker. You're going to be trying to salvage every scrap you can for an upgrade. Once you get to the end game though, you'll have loads of spare materials, fresh car parts that are more reinforced against the zone's conditions, and the junction you WANT to reach is several drives away.

Maybe you're set and don't need to scrounge as much. Perhaps earlier areas aren't worth salvaging compared to later games that give better resources. Or, maybe the route you're taking is so dangerous you have no time to risk too much damage. Get through the junctions quickly, safely, get to the exit, do any repairs, repeat until you're at the end game where it'll hurt a lot more and you want your best parts at maximum health to ensure survival.

Whatever the case - here's to hoping for a good experience.

This is a survival game with driving in it. Using a wheel really wouldn't make sense. Use your brains people. Its not a racing game. This would be like trying to play through gta5 with just a wheel.

Yeah I thought I was able to use my g920, I'll wait when they add wheel support. otherwise the game looks neat. Ever since I got my wheel I have used nothing else lmao. Its too fun.

Damn, even My Summer Car has wheel support and its made by one dude. I would switch to and from my Fanatec rig and my keyboard and mouse quite smoothly. So anyone saying its a bad idea is just ignorant. Anyone who has played MSC knows you don't spent much time actually driving but when you do and you have the equipment it adds alot to the experience.

It def has shader stutter because once it happens it is smooth. IDK why the dev didn't do a comp at the start, no acceptable

Why play GTA with JUST a wheel? Do you think using a wheel excludes someone from also using keyboard, mouse and/or gamepad? Who's not using their brain?

Ever heard of On the Road or Alaskan Truck Simulator? Both have outside the vehicle experiences as well as driving and most people who play either are using a wheel and pedals.

People who are saying that it's more of a walking sim than a driving game forget that you can easily swap to a controller or mouse and keyboard for on foot sections.

If the devs are willing to add this to the game, Is a completely different question however.

It wouldn't be the first game in which peripherals alternate. It is not necessary to use so much brain and more to respect other ways of enjoying a game
