Also why would an area being orange stop you from doing anything? You don't need to spend much time in any zone. If you're looking for loot just build a loot radar, 5 mins in a zone and your car will be filled from loot truck jumping. And orange places aren't that dangerous tbh so don't be afraid of them.
I'm nearly 100% sure the only thing that affects the storms speed is either conditions on the zone itself before you get there and triggering the exit. It also wouldn't matter because it takes like 15 mins max if you're looting and grabbing anchors
But i also notice that when i go thru a zone i need to cross to get to another zone, and try to get loot or stuff, then always after about 3-5 minutes , thers a zone warning and a yellow circle is closing in on me so i need to get out to tehy next zone.
so i wonder if its on purpose by teh developers force a timer on a inbetween junction zone, so peopel dont use there leisure to empty that zone , any idees ?
There's also the Barely Plugged condition, which starts to collapse the zone as soon as you pull an anchor.
I dont know if the reverse is true for corrupted or instable energies
If I have time or not worried about getting tossed around by anomalies I always try and get as many anchors as possible for the sake of upgrades.
