Repairing tools

Is there a way to repair tools like the scrapper and the vacuum? Only played for about an hour and a half, just finishing my first 'trip' (I put the thing on top of the thing, to avoid spoiling people), so may not have acquired the item/tool to repair with, but being able to repair the scrapper I got from the Friendly Dumpster, with the pleasant little heart, would be great! Also means I wouldn't have to keep using resources on making more...

No, however they're really cheap to remake and you can get a deconstructor in the garage that lets you basically refund almost half a crafted item, so its worth it to save more expensive things at 1 use left and throw it in there when you return to garage.

Heart means its from a dumpster yes, it also means it cannot be deconstructed for resources, it just poofs out nothing. So you can safely full-use them without worry of losing anything.

Basically. I think they're items that the Friendly Dumpster thinks you "lost" on a run, although I'm not sure. As far as I can tell, they're identical to normal tools in every other way.

Dumpster supplies with 2 methods.

First it will try to detect things you might "need" and supply them for free, extra tools or car parts for replacement for example. I once got rid of all my wheels, panels and doors, full scrapped, because I was tired of a piece getting worn out every run and wanted to recraft them. Quickly touched the dumpster before going to craft everything and it supplied in 1 go all but 1 door and 1 plate.

And second it just gives you random items from an item pool as you keep interacting with it, often the 2nd/3rd time you touch it, it'll give repair putty or canned foods as well.
