adjustable brighter nights?

i'm currently struggling a little bit to play in the dark but the current brighter nights feature makes headlights completely irrelevant which makes it feel too "cheaty" for me to use - not that i'd want to take it away from others obviously, i just think it'd be cool to be able to distinguish walls and floors at night while still needing headlights and wish the feature allowed for that level of nuance. maybe try fiddling with your monitor color options or the contrast in game? unless its pitch black i'm still able to make out vague shapes without flipping on my flashlight (i still burn through alot of flashlights tho since they're cheap and easy to make).

just and edit to add no matter how much you fiddle with stuff some times things will still be pitch black even without eerie darkness modifying the zone if its the middle of the night and like foggy or something
