Doesnt lim shield make armoured plate door obsolete?
how much resistent do lim shield ability do? or immune to all physical? same with ion shield and lead panel and door

The LIM Shield gives immense physical resistance, but it drains your battery extremely quickly. It's not feasible to keep it active all the time. Armored doors and panels protect against incidental dings and unexpected damage that you may not have time or awareness to activate your shield for.

The Ion Shield, in my opinion, largely obsoletes lead doors and panels, if you want to carry it on your roof. Like the LIM Shield, it needs to be activated, and drains battery quickly, though not as quickly as the LIM Shield. It also drains battery more quickly the stronger the radiation effect it's blocking is. But incoming radiation damage is much easier to predict and activate the shield for, and because radiation damage is gradual, over time, a late activation still helps you - as opposed to an explosion, which does its damage all at once.

Lim shield is a straight upgrade to the limpulse emitter, it protects a BUNCH against physical res but is not a replacement for armored things as it does not make them immune it's only a % resist. As Mattrex has said as well there's going to be alot of accidental dings and smaller bits of damage that add up more if its not an armored part and the lim shield drains battery quite a bit.

So in theory, the best bang for your buck is the LIM shield but only if you are quick enough to enable it before the damage can occur? And it doesn't really matter what panels and doors you have?

Maybe; I'm not sure if the LIM Shield's resistances stack with the damage resistance from the armored/olympian parts.

The LIM shield doesn't actually drain any power while it's on, except a little bit to turn it on. It only consumes power after that when you run into something or it's deflecting an abductor or whatever else. No need to quickly turn it on right before a crash, just leave it on all the time.

You're right, and I stand corrected. I suppose when I used it, I was taking so much damage that I was under the impression that it drained energy very quickly.
