Try turning off Camera Bob and Tool Bob under the Accessibility tab > Motion Sensitivity in Settings.
I tend to play First person games fine but if they have a "Head Bobbing" style camera then I get headaches/dizziness after playing for a little bit. Hopefully this will solve your problem...
My system is top of the line, running a 4090. It really shouldn't be frame rate. I'll fire up the game and check. Frame rate varies between 120 and 160 FPS.
I've turned off all the bobbing and motion blur crap, and cranked up my FoV.
Still getting sick.
turn of frame generation crap.
on my amd i have no problems at all with everythhing on max
This might not help but I know that trying to keep the car directed while trying to keep up with the "view" gives the same sort of scenario that produces actual car sickness.
It does play havoc with your senses, maybe a bit too much for some!
You're not playing in an ultrawide resolution without the fix applied, are you? The zoom, especially upwards from 32:9 would very easily make you feel nauseous.
What "fix"?
I have tried lowering the reso and running it in windowed mode with all the settings turned down. Still making me ill. I am noticing a weird jitter when panning around -- it's not the driving, I get sick just walking around in the garage. All I know is with a 4090, this game should look pristine and smooth. I play CS:GO and Rust every day -- and those are full immersion first person games which I play on a wide screen at high reso -- smooth as glass.
You didn't say if you're running an ultrawide. If you are:
Find engine.ini in \AppData\Local\PenDriverPro\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
and then add this to the end of file:
[/script/engine.localplayer]
AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV
On any ultrawide without that fix, the display will be zoomed in. At 32:9 and up, it'll be really pronounced and will give you particular issues when you're in a room, for example. This would explain why the base in particular is an issue for you.
I was having the same issue and the above fixed it!
