Do Clothes Upgrades Stack?

Like, I don't see a clothing equipment spot anywhere so like... Once you craft it is it just always on? Are we exploring the zone with 6 different sets of clothing, armor and hazmat suit included? Lmao

Indeed we're wearing different sets of clothing.

However, they don't stack (so no 15% + 30% + 45% = 90%), and only take the protection from the best piece of a set.

Ah, so for example if I bought the first item for everything (Lead Apron, Stiff Shirt, Grounded Sweater etc. etc.) those bonuses would all add on top of each other since they're different resistance elements right?

And on that, if I upgrade to a higher gear in the same section (e.g. Lead Apron upgraded to Lead-Lined Labcoat) that wouldn't add?

That would make sense, but also confuses me a bit because the "Antistatic Gloves" prevents electrical shocks entirely, but the upgrade to it, the Insulated Jumpsuit, is just some more electrical resist. Feels like that particular upgrade wouldn't be worth.

The game says "wearing" for all equipped items that's why I think that they stack, and after you unlock all as I did, the character almost can not die. Check my video here:
