I'm so done with instability storms

Gateway storms fine.

But this constant growing instability even in a perfect stability zone is just bs I'm turning off instability storms unless they fix perfect stability zones. Because there shouldn't be an instability storms unless you start ripping out anchors. Just venting really but I'm done with random instability storms.

Hmm yeah that's not kosher. I'm at least certain it shows up if I pop anchors I've raged many times at the storm that like you said shouldn't be there. And I'm near 100% certain popping anchors breaks that stability.

Pretty confident anchors might not even affect the global timer, only thing I've seen popping anchors effect directly is the anomaly spam around you that can happen and there's a condition "barely plugged" that immediately spawns a squall right on top of you when you pop it out.

Can also say from many runs of first getting the anchors in perpetual areas, they do not remove the condition at all as I was looting for way longer than I should in those situations with zero anchors left on the map.

Yeah my testing is showing that. Must be other factors. You know how it is crap pops up and your running for your life easy to think wth lol. Oh well. Guess I'll have to pay better attention.

nope i mean the big yellow pubg storms still appear for me despite being turned off even in stable areas. it was really confusing and ive been unable to fix it i dont mean the smaller blob storms those i just wait out most of the time

Hm, shouldn't be getting them in perpetual stability zones at all, you have an infinite timelimit. Only reason you should get them in those situations is if you started the gateway sequence to return to your garage. That's strange, I hope you actually are in a perpetual zone when you notice this and aren't just in a regular junction, cause the literal only junctions that don't have the zone creep in slowly are ones with the Condition : Perpetual Stability, which is normally rare outside of story missions which always have it. There is also the stabilizers that can trigger a free gateway run which the story does introduce you to very abruptly.

i'm not talking about the squalls that move through an area with the various affects for the record i do mean the time limit/ gate activated storms that shrink and turn the area yellow and then red. i prefer to have no time limit and just chill at my leisure. when i was in a perpetual zone the storm appeared. double checked the zone juction then i checked my options. i tried turning off the gate storms despite not having activated a gate then went to another perpetual then it happened again. multiple of the options i have set seem to be not staying on or off the storms were just the most noticeable. i believe the first time i did pick up an anchor but im not sure as when i got the alert i had to quickly leave as the storm was shirnking very rapidly. i havvent been able to reproduce this issue with any reliability it just sort of happens and kills the mood

ensure that your settings are not changed when you load your saves. ive had a few hiccups because i noticed that my gameplay settings changed when i load a save. the gameplay settings is saved on save file level instead of a global level.

also, in my knowledge ripping off anchors only unleashes the anomalies "plugged" by that anchor so when you rip it off they will start emerging and thats it, not affecting the time limit. anyway, i really recommend that you rush your missions into the mid zone so you can start getting marsh eggs for crafting blowtorches, blowtorches are more cost effective than putties so you can relax a bit when your car takes damage.

storms will start to become an opportunity instead of a threat when you start equipping yourself with lead lined parts and upgrading your radiation resistance. storms spawn pods which contains massive loot consisting of blowtorches, putties, end game tools, medkits,

Anchors do not cause the storm to arrive nor do they affect the Perpetual Stability condition, there's proper debate on if it maybe hastens it's arrival but I don't think anyone has proof of that and I lean towards the "no" category.

If you were really getting the time limit storm in a Perpetual Stability junction, which reminder is only on rare cases or story mission locations, then report it as a bug. You can click the report bug while ingame at the bottom.. left? of the screen and it'll bring you to this site :

at the bottom is where you fill out the bug report. I'd personally consider this a Major but I imagine some might consider it game breaking since it could interrupt the story missions. First confirm your sightings to be true though, especially after the recent patch. This would be the first time I ever heard anyone have a storm thrown at them naturally in perpetual, only other case I can think of is if you did the stabilizer mission without thinking as stabilizers force a gateway event to happen regardless of your LIM energy.
