Can the fuel pump in the Garage run out?

I've noticed as I've been doing more and more runs that the fuel pump's fuel level in Oppy's Garage is slowly ticking down. Is it possible that fuel might run out, leaving you stranded should you do too many runs?

I don't know. Each tick down fills me with existential dread that my car will run out of food.

you got another fuel pump on the outside, should be enough.

also all else fails you can make a fuel synthesiser that only uses energy, and you can repeatedly charge with the recharge at the garage. and since you dont ever HAVE to leave the garage with it you have at least one way to infinite gain fuel. but im sure the game will be dead before both run out on a single save.

it empties yes, but its hella slow so no worries and if you somehow??? get it emptied ou will already have an electric engine so no worries

Or with some patience build a fuel synthesizer and hang it on your car while in the garage. Just hitting the charger as needed.
