CRICITCAL BUG: Gas Leak Bug

When I was out doing a run, after sustaining damage to my car I noticed by fuel rapidly depleting. I stopped and found out my expanded backseat tank had the "rusty" condition, and this lead to my entire tank being drained to nothing. Ok, no big deal, I removed the backseat tank and took some large gas can's and started to fill my car's main tank back up...but the gas kept leaking out. Fully repaired the car, gas still was leaking out. Ended up having to reload the map. This seems to be a game breaking bug, please fix if so.

there's a zone modifier that causes gasoline to evaporate. Did you check the zone modifiers?

I did, and the zone does not have that modifier. Even if it did, my gas wouldn't have been depleting since my car was turned off. In my experience the Gas Evaporation modifier essentially makes you consume gas far more quickly while your driving or idling.

I'm having the same exact issue, my car is stuck in the garage and I've tried exiting and reloading the game but nothing seems to be fixing it. I'm really hoping that the devs fix this issue soon so I won't need to start a new save file

OK I've done some digging, turns out the game isn't bugged, the gas leaks due to a quirk you need to diagnose and fix
