Might be a semi-useful quirk . . ..

Havent heard of that or seen that but that would be one hell of a quirk but I don't think the options to select that exist.

My car sometimes feels like it's possessed in mid-zone: when I leave it parked it starts honking, switching lights, wipers and radio, going into drive and steering sideways. And there is no storm or bunnies.
Have to park it certain ways so it won't just roll away at least.

you might have a collection of quirks, such as while car is in park front left door opens. i dont know if they can chain. most common oddity i get is sometimes when i get in the driver door opens, even though there is no quirk.

so far ive seen,i think there are four things that can make your car look possessed;

electromagnetic squall (moving storm)
left to right anomaly
quirks
turncoat (zone's condition)

Yeah the whole rolling things annoying. Parking brake doesnt toggle on or off so you have to hold the button which is really dumb but yet if we put it in park it wont move like the ebrak3e should be shrugs

Turncoat is likely the suspect in this case. In a zone with Turncoat your care will go nuts when you're not in it.

Could aalso be near the proximity of a "shaggy scrambler"
I once thought my car had just developed a series of quirks out of no where but there was a shaggy scrambler (purpley red orb) nearby sending all my bits haywire

I havent yet experienced turncoat

I have just encountered this and googled looking for similar encounters. I was in a zone and one of those yellow roaming storms entered the area. I drove through it and leaving the car running and in drive I am 100% convinced it was following me. I got out to grab some plasma and loot a few containers. The wipers, lights and horn were going haywire, but if I moved one direction in front of the car or the other, the car would turn and steer towards me, and slowly accelerate at me. If I went to the other side of the car, it would correct and steer at me again. If I got too close and the car had to make a sharper turn, it would actually swing the steering in the other direction and reverse, then swing the steering again and move forward to me again like a K-turn. If I stayed put, it would aim at me, then accelerate at me and stop just as it bumped into me, not causing me any damage or harm. I was playing around with this for some time to confirm it was actually happening, before the storm left us and the car went to behaving normally again. If I could make that permanent I would do it! It was like "Get in moron your going to die!"

Assuming it's not a bunny, you're most likely in a zone with the Interloper condition.

Basically, as long as you leave the car on, if you're outside it'll start demonstrating erratic behavior.

But bunnies and electrical damage under certain circumstances can trigger this as well. In addition to the left right phenom.

There is a zone condition that does this, Turncoat. Icon of a ghost coming out of your car.
