Resource radar?

Does the resource radar do anything I tried it and all it did was find vehicles.

It can find resources you have already scanned as well.

It's actually perfect for finding lead shielding after you scan it.

it's incredibly useful in mid to later areas as it'll point out clusters of resources not visible from the road (particularly useful for getting tons of lead, thermosap, and swamp coral)

is there a setting I am missing I have 80% battery with water,lighting wind and solar recharge so i cant use it much

It has to be assigned to one of four car's abilities slots and then used manually.

it does not require that you have previously scanned the object. it will show everything. regardless of previous scan status. just have to be close enough and trigger the ability.

use the hydro generator, it practically always rains in mid to late sections and that thing is OP (it rechargest your batteries FAST!), makes the radar basically free.
