I thought the same thing at one point, was trying to farm Tourists and Squires too, but this was before the LIM Shield, by the time I needed that it was easy to find Thermosap Condensers.
The condensers are like Thermosap loot pinatas so 60 isn't all that much. They are big red crystals that glow in the dark. Once you've found one and scanned it you can see which zones have them which makes it easier. Maybe look for the white resource bar on the map that says ?? in zones until then to locate them? And use a resource radar on the top of your station wagon.
the screen showing the junctions tells you what you can find and where.
So far you should see green tree and red tree in the outer zone. (That's the damp forest and the blistering woods biomes)
In the mid zone you should see what looks like a blue starburst and a red wavy thing.
The red wavy thing is the places where you'll find the big red crystals full of thermosap.
Why do people keep ignoring basic logic and then pretending its the game's fault.
This attitude is why modern games have 6 yellow blinking arrows pointing to a door, with an all caps objective on your HUD that says OPEN THE DOOR TO PROGRESS. PRESS A TO OPEN THE DOOR. And a giant button prompt that says A TO OPEN DOOR.
The game gives you all the information you need, if you read and use your brain to make connections. And it's much much better for it.
Thermosap (Thermo means heat) crystals are found in the SCORCH!? (Scorch is also another word for extreme heat) How could anyone ever be expected to make this giant leap of logic. Truly a 400 IQ play.
