What can the incubator actually repair?

I stick tools, car parts, anything in there and the incubator tells me it can't repair it. Can I get a list of things the incubator actually *can* repair?

I think the radio (in the garage) needs to be turned on for it to work to repair parts.

Do you mean the matter re-generator?
It can repair all car parts and accessories (panels, doors, bumpers, tyres, lights, storage etc) EXCEPT for the items that are gifted to you (gold star - peculiar). It repairs everything inside while you are out on a drive (not just around the block)!

The game calls it an incubator when saying it cannot repair, so that's the nomenclature I stuck to.

Ah yes, I remember seeing that and just put it down to name change that slipped through quality control prior to release. There are a few typos throughout the game but overall not too bad.
