Remnant ghost

so ive completed the game, got something like 26 runs on my car now but i dont want to break the streak just so i can get the remnant ghost scan, is there a way to find it, or am i out of luck?

I haven't died yet either and I'm in the Deep Zone.

How do you find it after you die? And is it the same when you abandon a run? My third run I abandoned and when I went back to find my stuff I couldn't find it but I didn't know what to look for either.

To get it, you'll need to die, dk about abandoning. You'll have to go back to the same destination on the route map. When you arrive at the area, you'll see an orange symbol of a tombstone in your car's map. Drive there and you'll see the rusty remains of your car.

You might be able to recover a few things, but if you're looking to just get the achievement I'd probably change your car to crude everything and leave the trunk empty. Then just let the storm kill you and head back out to the car. I got it when I opened the side trunk on the ghost remnant.

I found you leave remnants if you abandon run, but I'm not sure how that interacts with the achievement.

If you die or abandon the run, on next run, you will find a remnant ghost on the sector you died, the sector will have a grave on right side of the name on map , the remnant is a frame of your car, if you leave as default the options failed run penality, you will find the itens you lost on the remnant, and some of the car pieces you lost too, dont change the options there is a achivement to find and take back itens on a remnant

my suggestion is to strip the car down to a minimal profile or even empty, go one junction out and then go find a shock tower or something and have it kill you directly.

keep all your goodies back at the house so you're not worried about repairing or replacing damaged equipment.

I can confirm that this works - I tried it a week ago and it only showed the remnant on the overworld map, but I just tried again and this time drove a bit further into the zone of the map and my remnant was there

If you abandon a run, does that reset your "Runs without an accident" counter? I'd like to get the scan and such (and complete the fabrication station, which relies on the scan) but I like my streak, haha

Same, game's honestly not that hard if you plan your routes a little, haven't died yet and don't really want to have to just for the achievement, I wish you could see other players ghosts since they're essentially "bones" files like in nethack, it would be sick to have remnant ghosts spawn in a zone someone else died in with their loot.
