If it is happening in every junction you should just check if you have any undiagnosed quirks when you get back to the garage and try to diagnose them.
Whenever I turn the wipers ON, the fuel gauge also moves left/right. I also can't seem to diagnose this :(
To me the effect of Turncoat is hilarious, it looks like a yandere personality applied to the car: it gets hysterical because you're leaving it, even for a few seconds, and actively hurts you in order to stay close to you.
This behavior can also be dangerous if you leave the car in an area with many anomalies, as it may decide to drive into one of them by trying to follow you.
To diagnose quirks when you have energy for hints you must manually save beforehand, then use energy for hints, after you know what the quirk is you just reload your save thus restoring your energy and fix the quirk you already know.
Wipers -> Switches On -> Dashboard -> Fuel Gauge Fails
I get fail on all the tests :/
