I am abit annoyed to say the least so please understand. I was excited for this game for a long time. however when the first tutorial mission is like repair the flat tyre but dies not say how what or do, Is insanely bad UI design. There was no tyre in the locker there was no way to make the seal repair. So i basically got soft locked instantly. I got to be honest here im thinking of cancelling my pre-order already because if this is the first hitch there is surely more further in the game.

Do any o you know what to do next because im not the only one looking at this steam forum.

had no issues at all. you mean the part where you are supposed to either repair the flat tire or get the other one?

it is not that far in, so maybe start again or load the save if that is possible. i bugged it out too, so i had to alt-f4...

as always, keep in mind that this is a demo, and it might not have been fully tested before the next fest. those demos are often just done for this event, and then removed afterward. so i wouldn't worry too much about the full game yet. besides that, pre-orders are barely a good idea, and you rarely get anything for it. yeah, maybe some useless skins or so. but i've been pissed enough (mostly AAA though!) to not pre-order games anymore.

Yep that fixed it restarting the game on new save fixed the soft lock. Sorry i just had a lot of irl and wanted to relax with a new game im excited for. I know i may of came across harsh my apologies. However to the devs please look into your tutorial something is causing a soft lock. Hopefully it can be fixed soon.

Ok nevermind i just alt-tabbed back into game after writing the above and it restarted to the very beginning....wtf is going on here.

If anyone else finds this a problem, there are two ways to deal with the flat tire: replace it with the spare found in the locker or use a sealing kit, which you will need to craft. All the materials needed to craft this are found just outside the garage (look for the computer on the shelf out there to obtain the needed glass shards).

all good! at least you could play it then. i wanted to play again too, but it just saved after you enter the zone. i hoped it would save when you at least reach the garage...
well, i am not gonna play the first 20 mins or so again. it was fine the 1st time, but i have no motivation to do it again. i wait for an updated demo or until release.

I cannot even do the first task like craft a door. This game needs a ton of work. 10min and im stuck. Had high hopes but now......

Okay, tried this myself, and restarted four times in several ways, even went onto direct x11 this time round. And I *still* can't grab the tire. I was really hoping to play this myself this instead of having to watch it being played...

Can be kind of confusing at first but once you get started it's pretty good, I just ran into a glitch where I was back at the garage and the world was just permanently distorted even with restarting, kind of sucks but it's not the full game yet.
