Game running fine, but I still think it needs some optimization.
Game is fun still
half a Ryzen 9 5900x (1 CCD i.e. 6c12p)
RTX 3070 @ PCIe4 x8
32GiB RAM
I left the graphics at default (and it didn't look particularly impressive). Maybe that's the difference.
Ryzen 7 5800X3D
2060
32RAM
after playing for 10 minutes for some reason made my source to roll continuously and it started to make a sound like doing a short.
Restarted my pc, but it won't turn on, after 10 minutes of trying to drain the power out of it and doing a lot of power cycles it started.
I'm not touching this dog**** again.
Edit: Not mentioning the game runs in 45-50 fps when doing stuff and sometimes I get 60+
This game should definitely make some settings presets too
Game is fun, but too GPU demanding
Sad to hear that dude
You should give the game another try sometime, it's very fun once you get going
I think the devs should pay close attention to this cuz it's very frustrating to try to figure out what the issue is.
Maybe its the demo build, lets see
My computer hardware:
HP Omen RTX 3060 (MAX P) (140W) and i7 11800H + 32 RAM (DDR4 3200Mhz)
i7 9700k OC'd to 5Ghz
32G RAM
ATI 6750 X

Its gotta be something with NVIDIA then
Turned ~ everything down to Medium and set DLSS to Balanced @ 1080p and still hovered around 40-50FPS at best.
RTX 2070
i7 9700K
16GB RAM
Installed on an NVME drive.
I'm on the latest drivers, not that they specifically mention this game.
Hoping the full release is just a bit more optimized.
Had a lot of fun with the demo despite the performance.
Optimization is fine, you gotta optimize your expectations based on your hardware!
No, optimization is not fine.
Turning shadows to low basically turns them off completely.
Medium setting shadow maps are quality-wise lower than what would be a 'low' setting in any other game.
Changing shadows from medium to high changes my FPS from 67 to 44 (in a garage, looking at the back of a car from an angle), which is unreasonable performance cost.
Any form of antyaliasing other than TXAA on High is basically unusable.
Setting post processing to lower than high makes game extremely dark on the brink of being uplayable.
In DX11 mode GPU seems to be underutilized.
I understand that you're a proud RTX4090 owner, but before you make a statement about game's optimization fiddle with the settings a little, check how they work, how they look and how they affect performance. Cause right now you're speaking out of your ass.
Have you tried disabling DLSS? We're investigating a few tricky things on our side and some signs point to DLSS causing some problems.
