Tips for Joyous Deer Essence?

I've been stuck for nearly a week on the quest to get a ton of Deer and Bird essence + farm furniture for Lee. It seems like my deer never ask for food lately and buying new ones each day is giving minimal essence back. I have 1/5 right now and am slowly grinding with pats, liked furniture and food to make the rest happy enough to let me cook better essence.

If you're someone who cooks a lot, hold off and save your deer essence for this quest.

Two of my other quests are relying on Lee giving special items, so I feel like I'm just kinda stuck hoping the RNG of the deer food requests is in my favour each day.

Same here. Unlocked that bear nearly 2 weeks ago. Zero Bird essence in my bag. cause i bougt some stupid flowers 1 day earlyer. Until now, not a single bird essence drop. So i can not finish the quest :(. Day 76.

And the ratio to create/bake a hight essence is insane! (625 normal for one!) I hope the nerve the ratio soon.

I just realized that you can recycle decorations. And some decorations will give you indeed various kinds of essences. So.. since at this point in the game I have an abundance of money and gems I just bought every available decoration and recycled them.

Maybe this will help some of you who also struggle with getting enough essence.

That's a good tip. I'm new, but in case people don't know, you can also catch joyous deer essence from fishing at night. Look for the orb ones without tails, not always essence but at night they often are.

That's a good tip. I'm new, but in case people don't know, you can also catch joyous deer essence from fishing at night. Look for the orb ones without tails, not always essence but at night they often are.

Can only second this, saved me a lot of trouble when I got it on like day 3. That kind of "fish" does seem to be quite rare though.
