Same... unless you have a 'always night' option (the same way there's a 'always day'), but it would maybe defeat the purpose (though I understand the visual appeal).
this suggestion is in direct conflict with that.
I can certainly respect not wanting to deny content to players because they cannot play in the evening... even if it's a shame. Maybe a new "Always Night" setting could be an option to trigger night events for players who cannot actually be around during that time of day. Then they can always disable it afterwards.
You aren't interested in completing the fish collection? I'm trying to find a link from the blog for you that you might find interesting.
Edit: Here is the link:

I guess you need to play however you find it fun, but to ignore one element of collection might be a mistake if you don't know how it works. Hope its helpful.
The problem with the fishing collection (which made me give up on it) kinda plays into the devs refusal to divide the available resources depending on time or some other factor. The way it works now there's so much fish available all at the same time and all from the same spawn pool (ocean) that it honestly just feels like a hopeless errand so catch them all.
Can't say I blame them for giving up on it, especially when fish is no longer needed for money making.
Curious what you still need a lot of money for after about 60 days? Like, I still spend money, but not like pre-day 50.
How expensive are we talking? I think I've spent $50k-ish on a quest once or twice.
I chronically have $100-200k without even trying lately. I buy most animals and plants every day, and all clothing. Not sure.
Anyways, it doesn't matter. Everyone has to play however makes it fun for them, but, if you are badge hunting, you gotta go for it all :D
Working as much as I can haha. If I sold everything in my stash I'd drum up probably half a mil. I do what I can. I'm chasing the badges, and balancing collection efforts. It's been fun for me.
