Photo Quest

My quest requires me to take a picture of 4+ decorations with the basket symbol and one marked spot.
Do I need 4 different ones or can I use the same decoration 4 times?
I guess it is not working since my quest still is not done after taking a picture of the items.
Also, does it require a special spot, or does any do it for the picture?

Any idea on why it is not working?

What does the quest text say exactly? I don't remember any photo quests that ask for items with a specific symbol. Usually, the quests ask for items with a specific tag (like "scout"), and any shown symbol is just an example.

In most cases (for example, the photo quests that Charlotte gives you), you also receive 4 items that match the requirement. You don't have to use those 4 items specifically, but you can.

4+ decoration with the tags: wicker
+1 ranger station

My camera is broken now and the quest will be gone tomorrow, but I'm still unsure what I did wrong.
I had 4 decoration items with that tag and everything was shown in one picture.

Are you sure that you had the ranger station in the picture? That's the house south of Charlotte, not the "Cozy Grove" sign north of her position.

When you take a photo, it shows you in two ways whether you got everything you need:

a) Below the photo, there will be a list of items on the photo, such as "3 animals", "1 landmark", etc. If something is needed for the quest, it will be shown with a purple exclamation mark. If, for example, you need the Ranger Station, and your photo shows "1 landmark" but without an exclamation mark, then the object that you photographed is not the one that the quest required.

b) In your quest list, the completion mark (pink circle segment or full green circle behind the photo icon) will be updated immediately after taking the photo. So when you look at the photo for the first time, you can already see in the quest list if you completed all objectives or not.

You can repair your camera by buying a new film from Mr. Kit, and giving it to Jeremy to repair the camera.
