Also - you're most probably already know this, but just in case:
- The procedure of taking a photo is: Put the camera (which you bought at Mr. Kit's store at some point) in your hand, then click on your character and drag the mouse. An outlined rectangle will appear, which indicates the area of the screen that gets photographed. Click the left mouse button to take the shot. You'll then see the photo itself, a list of the recognized features on it (quest-relevant objects should be shown with a red exclamation mark), and buttons to either save or delete the photo.
- The camera has a limited number of uses, IIRC you can see how many uses are left by hovering the mouse over it. If it runs out of uses, buy a new film at Mr. Kit (or Arjun), then bring the camera to Jeremy Gruffle to "repair" it.
for example, one of the easiest ones I see people get confused on is when it asks you to take pictures of "plant" items
it is not asking you to take pictures of plants, there is an item series that is plant themed, and the tag in the item description will tell you that
